Juventus director Pavel Nedved has confirmed that Paris Saint Germain have made an offer for Paul Pogba.

The former Man United midfielder has been in superb form over the past two seasons, helping the Turin side to a back-to-back Serie A titles.

And, his performances have gained interest from a number of top European sides, including the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, whilst Juventus have maintained that they would love to keep hold of the French international.

FEN reported last week that Barcelona’s new sporting director Arieda Braida had begun talks with the Italian club over a possible deal in 2016, but it is understood that PSG are ready to beat the Spanish side to it and make a move this summer.

Pogba is keen on a move to PSG as he cites the desire to join a side where he can challenge for the Champions League and force his way into contention for the FIFA Ballon d’Or.

A transfer fee is not yet known, although Juve have now confirmed the French club’s interest.

“Yes, PSG have submitted an offer, but PSG are not alone,” the former Juventus midfielder is quoted as saying by Le Parisien. “Barcelona and Real Madrid are also interested.”
