Man United chiefs tempting Ancelotti and Ronaldo with move

Football Express News understands that Manchester United are considering a sensational swoop for Real Madrid duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlo Ancelotti.

Talk of a return to Old Trafford for Portuguese winger Ronaldo has been rife in the past year with many United fans calling for the club’s hierarchy to do all they can to secure a mega money deal.

Ronaldo has been in fine form once again this season for Real Madrid but a bitter fall out last week following the 4-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid is said to have strained his relationship with the club and fellow team-mates.

United believe that they can use their relationship with the 2014 Ballon d’Or winner and lure him back to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, it is also understood that Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti has been identified as a potential replacement for Louis van Gaal, should the Dutch boss continue to struggle.

United believe that both would suit Old Trafford and that a good financial backing for Ancelotti and plans for the future could tempt both to bring their partnership to Manchester.

Manchester City have also shown interest in the former AC Milan boss.
