Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku are both on Wolfsburg’s wishlist ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Sport Bild.
The Bundesliga side are preparing themselves to push Bayern Munich for the title next season, having performed well this season to propel themselves into second place.
A recent January signing of Andre Schurrle from Chelsea further signifies their intent and plans both on a domestic level and European front.
And, it is now understood that officials from the German club are already making contact with Man City and Everton over the availability of Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku.
Whilst signing the latter may turn out to be hard due to his recent move to Roberto Martinez’s side; it is thought that 28-year-old Dzeko would welcome a move back to his former club after failing to hold down a regular starting place this season at the Etihad stadium.
The Bosnian striker scored 85 goals in 142 games during his time at the Volkswagen Arena between 2007 and 2011.
