Man United target to discuss future with Luis Enrique

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is happy to discuss the future of Manchester United target Dani Alves at the end of the season, he discussed in a press conference.

The Barcelona boss was speaking ahead of his side’s Copa del Rey semi-final first-leg with Villarreal on Wednesday and was drawn on the future of Brazilian full-back Alves.

Alves has been strongly linked with a move to England in recent weeks, with Manchester United extremely keen to offer him a lucrative three-year deal at Old Trafford.

Barca team-mate Lionel Messi is keen for Alves to remain at the Camp Nou and initiated talks with the club on Monday, but boss Enrique has insisted that further talks will take place once the season is over.

“I do not speak of these situations,” he said at Tuesday’s press conference. “This benefits both parties. Everyone should be calm and talk at the end of the season, not now.”
