Juventus ready to snatch £25.9m youngster from Arsenal

Juventus have joined the race to sign much talked about Argentine youngster Paulo Dybala.

The 21-year-old has been heavily compared to Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero after impressing for Serie A side Palermo this season, scoring nine goals already this season.

Dybala has been strongly linked with both Arsenal and Napoli in recent times, although the latter are thought to have pulled out after being quoted an asking price of £31m for his services.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has recently discussed Premier League interest, saying Manchester United are indeed interested and have recently had an offer rejected.

“Dybala is worth over €40m [£31m] but I won’t sell him until June,” Zamparini said to Radio Due.

“Many foreign clubs asked after him, including Manchester United. I told the English side that he is not for sale right now, but we can talk about it again in six months.

“In my view, he is the best striker in Europe at the moment.”

However, both United and Arsenal are now being joined by Juventus, who are confident they can lure the Argentine youngster to the club and offer him a chance to remain in Italian football.
