Football Express News understands that Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.
The Italian defender will see his current deal with Inter Milan expire in June and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to make a move to sign the defender.
Having been a mainstay in the Italian side’s starting eleven this season and handed the captains armband by new boss Roberto Mancini, Ranocchia has been in good form.
The 26-year-old is keen to remain with the Serie A club past June but talks over a new deal are yet to be sealed and negotiated.
Spurs have a number of central defensive options but Pochettino is keen to partner Ranocchia along side Federico Fazio and see the pair form a solid partnership.
