Real Madrid are preparing a deal for Raheem Sterling as he looks set to reject an ‘incredible’ offer from Liverpool.
The young England winger has been sitting on a new and improved contract proposal from Liverpool for almost a month now and it is widely expected that he will reject the deal in the coming days.
Sterling and his representatives believe that they can gain a more lucrative deal in the region of £120,000 per week, rather than the £100,000 per week offer.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he believes Sterling will sign a new deal at Anfield, but Real Madrid are ready to swoop, should a deal not be reached.
Madrid officials have also taken the time to look at Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane in recent weeks, watching him on three occasions.
