Monaco defender Layvin Kurzawa has discussed his ambitions to further his career, prompting Manchester United to show interest as they seek to replace Luke Shaw.
English defender Shaw only signed for United last summer but has since failed to impress Dutch boss Louis van Gaal and it is firmly understood that the former Barcelona and Netherlands boss would like to sign two full-backs next summer.
Kurzawa has impressed for Monaco this season in Ligue 1 and has gained interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain.
And now the France international has confessed that he will have to leave Monaco to further his career.
“I read [that PSG are interested],” Kurzawa told L’Equipe.
“PSG are a big European club, but I have got too much respect for Monaco to talk about a rival club.
“Of course I think about my career choices and I have no doubt that one day I will leave Monaco. But I don’t know when.”
