Bayern Munich set to sign Chelsea & Man United target for free

Bayern Munich have agreed terms with Sami Khedira over a summer move, according to various reports in Spanish press.

The German midfielder, 27, is out of contract at the end of the season and has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League after interest was shown by Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Madrid had been offering his services in a cut-price deal over the January transfer window to the aforementioned but no side seemed keen after large wage demands.

And, it is now being reported that Bayern Munich have jumped the gun and agreed a contract for his arrival in July.

Khedira has found it impossible to gain a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s side, mainly down the good form of Luka Modric and compatriot Toni Kroos, whilst Brazilian Lucas Silva and youngster Martin Odegaard wait in the wings.

The former Stuttgart man will now link up with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola and former Madrid team-mate Xabi Alonso.
