Man United extend David De Gea’s contract until 2020

David De Gea has put pen-to-paper on a new and improved deal at Manchester United, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Spanish international has been the talk of the town this January after Spanish giants Real Madrid made serious their interest in signing him.

The reigning European champions have long held an interest in De Gea which was first developed when he played for cross-city rivals.

A lucrative bid for the keeper which some reports claimed would feature Gareth Bale, however, is now out of the question after a report claimed the former Atletico Madrid man has signed a new deal.

De Gea has agreed to stay with United until 2020, extended his current deal by four more years.
