Chelsea & Man United in talks to sign Real Madrid defender

Chelsea and Manchester United are in talks to sign Sergio Ramos after speaking with the Real Madrid defender’s agent, according to Daily Express.

The Spanish international is seemingly closer now than ever to an exit from the European champions after interest from Premier League duo Chelsea and Man United gathered pace.

Reports in English press claim that Ramos’ agent has held several meetings with the duo about a potential move later this summer and both are understood to be keen on the move.

The 28-year-old has been a key part of Madrid’s defence in recent seasons, having helped them to European glory last season, scoring in the final against Atletico Madrid.

Madrid are understood to be looking into several defensive changes this coming summer with the likes of Pepe and Marcelo expected to be replaced, whilst a potential sale of Ramos could see a completely new defensive line all-together at Santiago Bernabeu.
