West Ham United have agreed a deal to sign Darren Fletcher from Manchester United.
Scottish midfielder Darren Fletcher has agreed a free transfer to West Ham United, ending his 20-year spell at Old Trafford.
The 30-year-old has been strongly linked with a number of European clubs this January with Valencia said to have been keen on a deal, but the midfielder will now link up with Sam Allardyce at Upton Park, penning a three-and-a-half deal.
Fletcher had six months remaining on his contract at Old Trafford but after making just four starts under Dutch boss Louis van Gaal; became surplus to requirements this month and the club opted to allow him to leave for nothing.
West Ham are now set to announce confirmation of the deal in the coming days.
