Pires: Ancelotti or Henry to replace Wenger at Arsenal

Former Arsenal player Robert Pires believes that either Carlo Ancelotti or Thierry Henry will replace Arsene Wenger as manager.

French boss Wenger has come under typical criticism this season as Arsenal have dipped further behind the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City, who battle for the Premier League title.

Wenger, who is unlikely to be axed by Arsenal officials, may chose to leave the club in the not to distant future anyway after 18 years in charge of the North London side.

And, former winger Robert Pires believes that either Carlo Ancelotti or Thierry Henry would be perfect replacements.

In an interview with Goal.com, Pires said: “Who is the perfect replacement? Thierry Henry? He understands football and Arsenal. I don’t know, but I like Carlo Ancelotti.

“But that’s my opinion, it doesn’t mean that Arsenal need Ancelotti at this time.”
