Allegri open to selling former Man United ace Pogba

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri had admitted that ‘everyone has a price’ when asked about the future of French midfielder Paul Pogba.

Pogba was in excellent form on Sunday evening as he netted against Chievo as the Serie A leaders won 2-0.

The likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and former club – Manchester United, have all been interested in the youngster, whose 25-yard strike is likely to have further enhanced the trio’s interest.

Current Madrid man Zinedine Zidane has discussed how he would love Pogba at Madrid, whilst Juventus chief Giuseppe Marotta believes the club are still hoping he will remain with them for the foreseeable future.

Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri told Sky Italia: “I think Pogba scored an extraordinary goal and the second goal was an equally extraordinary assist.

“Everything in life has a price, unfortunately. I don’t think it is a problem we need to consider right now. It is difficult to replace world class players, but it can be done, as football goes on.

“Having said that, Pogba is only 21 years old, has a good 10-15 years ahead of him and more importantly has the qualities to do much better than he is now.

“To win games you need great players, otherwise there wouldn’t be players that clubs pay €100m for. As with every profession, there are levels.”
