Manchester United have been quoted an astronomical asking price for Paris Saint Germain defender Marquinhos.
The 20-year-old Brazilian defender is fighting for his place in the Paris Saint Germain startling eleven, but that has not stopped the Ligue 1 side from placing a ‘world record’ asking price on his shoulders.
Having made just 12 appearances for the Parisien side this season, Marquinhos has been strongly linked with a January exit which has seen the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United all linked.
Reports now claim that United have been quoted £112m in their latest enquiry, thus, prompting the English club to end all interest and further scouting reports.
Marquinhos joined PSG in 2013 on a five-year deal for £24m.
