Manchester City defender Gael Clichy has rejected talk of a crisis at the club, following their defeat to Arsenal at the weekend.
City were humbled by Arsene Wenger’s side at the Etihad stadium on Sunday after Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud gave the Gunners a superb away win.
The victory also meant that Manuel Pellegrini’s side slipped further behind table toppers Chelsea and talk of a ‘mini-crisis’ at the club has gained prominence in English press since.
Clichy told Sky Sports News: “We have to know what we have done wrong but we can learn and put it right at Chelsea.
“If we win we will close the gap and if we lose it is a lot of points. Nothing is done yet though and we don’t talk about disaster.
“We’re off to get the points and see if we can get the deficit back.”
