Cavani has heart set on Arsenal or Real Madrid

Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani has issued a come and get me plea to either Arsenal or Real Madrid as he looks increasingly likely to leave the Ligue 1 side in the summer.

The Uruguayan striker has been in superb scoring form for the French champions both last season and this campaign, but his time at the club has been dampened by off-field problems and a disliking to his role in the team under boss Laurent Blanc.

Cavani is said to be unhappy at playing out on the wing and second fiddle to Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, thus, linking him with a number of top European clubs.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Juventus and others have been credited with interest in the former Napoli striker.

However, it is understood that Cavani would ideally like to play for Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal or Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

And, the latter are extremely keen, having made preliminary plans to offload Karim Benzema to Liverpool in order to fund such a move.
