Man United keeper set for La Liga switch

Sevilla are interested in signing Manchester United keeper Anders Lindegaard.

The Danish keeper joined United in 2010 from Aalesund, but has since struggled to hold down a regular starting place, seeing his playing time restricted to League Cup and FA Cup outings.

Lindegaard was playing back-up to Spanish keeper David de Gea before the January transfer window, but the signing of former Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes on a free transfer, has now seen his time at the club come to an end.

According to various reports in Spain and England, Sevilla are now keen on the keeper and have opened talks with officials from Old Trafford.

Lindegaard is out of contract at the end of the season.
