Real Madrid offer Khedira to Arsenal and Chelsea, again

Real Madrid are continuing to offer Sami Khedira to a whole host of European clubs as they hope to cash in before his contract expires in June.

The German midfielder will leave the Santiago Bernabeu in June if he fails to find a club in January.

A number of Premier League clubs have so far shown interest in the World Cup winner but have been put off by his large wage demands and injury problems this season, which have restricted his appearances for the reigning European champions.

Arsenal and Chelsea have both been linked with English and Spanish press and it is now understood that Madrid officials have made one last attempt to lure both clubs into making a cut-price bid.

Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have also received a similar offer, but it is thought that Madrid are hoping to use Khedira as bait for winger Marco Reus, who is said to have been in contact with Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
