Lazar Markovic has spoken of his delight at settling in at Liverpool following his move from Benfica last summer.
The 20-year-old attacker had struggled to get his Anfield career off the ground after numerous injuries, a suspension and some stuttering form.
But, his goal against Sunderland in the 1-0 win last weekend and more solid performances have seen him become a big player for Brendan Rodgers’ side at the current time.
And, the Serbian international has thanked his team-mates and the club for helping him settle.
“They have all been extremely helpful, they have helped me settle in and they are still helping me,” Markovic told the club’s official website.
“There is no end to the help that I have been receiving from them, and also the supporters have been very helpful. I am thankful to everybody. I knew right at the beginning that this is going to be my home for the future. I feel at home already here.”
