Arsenal are finally on the verge of completing a deal for Legia Warsaw starlet Krystian Bielik.
Arsene Wenger’s side had been close to completing the deal in the first week of January, but interest from Bundesliga side Hamburg halted the final details.
Both clubs had offers of £2.3m accepted by Legia Warsaw but it is now understood that after talks with both, Bielik is keen on making the move to England, citing a desire to play in the Premier League.
The Poland youth international is expected to sign a three-year deal at the Emirates Stadium by the end of this week and will be Wenger’s first signing of the January transfer window.
Bielik, has often been compared to former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira.
