Italian side Roma are keen on making a January move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Togo striker has been absent from the Spurs starting eleven in recent weeks after being forced to return to his native country due to personal problems.
Talk of his role in the Spurs side under boss Mauricio Pochettino has since been debated, despite the Argentine coach having talked about his pending return recently.
“Yes, I explained last week, he’s nearly ready for selection,” said Pochettino, when asked about his return. “He’s training in the last few weeks; his training sessions have been very good.”
However, Roma are keen to make a move as they attempt to push Juventus for the Serie A title.
