Chelsea aim to sell Schurrle and buy Reus

Chelsea are set to sell Andre Schurrle and make a move to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus.

Schurrle has been heavily linked with a move back to the Bundesliga after failing to settle in the Chelsea side, making a limited amount of starts this season under Jose Mourinho.

A number of Bundesliga sides have shown interest in German forward Schurrle with Wolfsburg keen admirers of the World Cup winner.

And, a reported communication between Chelsea officials and Wolfsburg has been made, with a deal in the region of £23m likely to be sealed in the coming days.

That money is then expected to allow Chelsea to make a bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus, who continues to be linked with European football’s biggest sides.
