Valencia extend Nuno’s contract

Valencia have extended the contract of manager Nuno after impressive performances at the club this season.

The former Rio Ave boss will not remain at the club until 2018, if results continue to improve and go his way.

Nuno has impressed during his short stint with the La Liga side, beating Real Madrid this season at the Mestalla and maintaining their Champions League hopes, sitting fifth in the table.

“Valencia CF and first team manager Nuno Espirito Santo have reached for an extension to his current contract, taking his tenure at the club to 30 June 2018,” read a statement on the club’s official website.

Signing players such as Bruno Zuculini, Shkodran Mustafi and Enzo Perez; owner Peter Lim is firmly committed to helping the club improve further more.

Valencia have taken 11 points from their last five league games.
