Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale is considering a return to English football with Manchester United maintaining their interest.
The Welsh winger has struggled for form this season at the Santiago Bernabeu and has come under heavy criticism in recent weeks.
Bale, who settled in with the Spanish giants easily last season, helping them win the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, has been accused on several occasions as being ‘too selfish’ by fellow players, with both Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo both unhappy following the 2-0 Copa del Rey defeat to Atletico Madrid last week.
Manchester United have maintained their interest in the former Tottenham Hotspur man, whilst the likes of Bayern Munich and Chelsea have also been linked.
Madrid are keen to sell and have planted a whopping £150m price tag on the shoulders of the Wales international.
Whilst, it is now understood by our sources that Bale himself, would be open to the move after becoming concerned about his role and future at the club.
Man United are in a position to sign the winger for the aforementioned amount, whilst Bayern Munich are the only other side able to spend that much money, according to Financial Fair Play rules.
