Steven Gerrard agrees move to LA Galaxy

Steven Gerrard has agreed a deal to join MLS side LA Galaxy, according to various reports.

The former England captain announced his decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, earlier this week and has been linked with the MLS side since.

The report stems from ESPN, who claim that Gerrard will follow the footsteps of David Beckham, who also joined Galaxy during his career, playing for the West Coast club between 2007 and 2012.

Gerrard has agreed a contract that will last 18-months and see him earn £3.9m pro-rated.

Galaxy, who are managed by former United States manager Bruce Arena, are the current MLS champions and are captained by former Liverpool striker Robbie Keane.
