Chelsea and Man City out of Reus race?

Marco Reus is staying at Borussia Dortmund, according to chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke

Reus is one of football’s most wanted players after impressing for Dortmund in the Bundesliga and on the international stage for the German national side.

Speculation has been heavy about Reus’ future with a whole host of European clubs being linked, including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Premier League clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.

However, it now seems that the winger could be staying put after all, with chief executive of Dortmund commenting on his future to Stern Magazine.

“I believe that fundamentally Marco would love to stay here because he loves the city and he loves Borussia Dortmund.

“But I’m sure the people who are interested in him moving will provide him with other arguments.”
