Milan ready to send Torres back to Chelsea

AC Milan are ready to terminate the loan spell of Fernando Torres and send him back to Chelsea in January, according to reports.

The former Liverpool striker made the move to Filippo Inzaghi’s side during the summer, signing a two-year loan deal, which was likely to see his time at Stamford Bridge come to an end.

However, the Italian club have since become unhappy with his performances, attitude and effort, prompting heavy reports that they will terminate the deal and allow him to move back to England.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is unlikely to hand Torres playing time upon his return, having signed Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Didier Drogba this summer.

Torres has scored just one goal in 10 appearances for the San Siro outfit.
