Charlie Adam issues come get me please to David Moyes

Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam is open to the possibility of a move abroad after links to Real Sociedad.

The 29-year-old has started just five times for Stoke City this season and has been linked with a switch to Real Sociedad in recent weeks following their appointment of David Moyes as coach.

Adam is happy with life at the Britannia stadium but admit he was open to the idea of playing abroad before his career comes to an end.

“There’s better weather than here,” he told the Stoke Sentinel. “I would love the experience of playing abroad because it’s certainly something different. Hopefully, more British players will go and do it.

“It’s going to happen when you have good players not playing and the opportunity for clubs to have a look at things [in the transfer window].

“But there’s nothing happening at the moment and I am happy to be here at Stoke.”
