Basel have mocked three Premier League clubs after their most recent triumph over English opposition by posting a cheeky picture on Instagram.
The Swiss champions held Liverpool to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening to join Real Madrid in the knock-out stages, securing a third famous win against English sides in recent years.
Basel beat Chelsea twice last season and knocked Spurs out of the Europa League too.
Following the draw at Anfield, the club’s official Instagram account posted an image of Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs players linked arm in arm, with the words: “You’ll never walk alone.”
