Marco Reus dents Chelsea’s hopes after starting Spanish lessons

Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus has dented Chelsea’s hopes of making a move by starting Spanish lessons.

The German international has been strongly linked with a move away from the Bundesliga club, with a whole host of European clubs showing interest.

Chelsea lead the list of English sides interested, whilst Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City have also been interested.

However, reports in Germany claim that Reus has taken intensive Spanish lessons as he prepares to move to La Liga, with both Barcelona and Real Madrid keen.

The 25-year-old has a £20m release clause on his shoulders, but that is likely to put off any potential suitors, who have admired his performances for Dortmund.

Barcelona are obviously banned from making any transfers in 2015, leaving Real Madrid in pole position to make the move.
