£80m double Man United deal for Cavani and Reus?

Manchester United will make a sensational double £80m swoop for PSG’s Edinson Cavani and Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus in January, according to various reports.

Uruguayan striker Cavani has been strongly linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 champions this season and reports have now linked Louis van Gaal with a January move, which would drastically improve his attacking options.

Van Gaal is said to be unhappy with Radamel Falcao’s efforts this season and his niggling injury problems, which are likely to see him return to Monaco next summer.

27-year-old Cavani, has scored 22 goals already this season for PSG, but could be allowed to leave for £50m.

Van Gaal is also said to be keen on spending £30m on Marco Reus, who despite being injured, is continuing to interest a whole host of big clubs.

Reus is expected to leave struggling Dortmund, who sit bottom of the Bundesliga table.
