According to reports in Portugal, Manchester United star Nani is to be named the Sporting Lisbon player of the year.
The Portuguese winger is currently on a season long loan with former club Sporting Lisbon and has been in superb form this season, prompting various reports that he could be recalled in the January transfer window.
Portuguese daily Record have revealed that the tricky winger is set to be named the Player of the Year in Portugal after just four months at the club.
Nani made the switch to Portugal as part of the deal which saw Marcos Rojo sign for United this summer.
United boss Louis van Gaal is now unsure what to do with the winger and has told his various coaches to keep a close eye on his situation and form, adding to the reports that he could return to Old Trafford.
