Liverpool are looking to make a January move for Fiorentina keeper Neto and have planned a whopping contract for the Brazilian.
The Reds have become worried by the form of Simon Mignolet of late after a number of high profile mistakes and boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to pursue a replacement in the January transfer window.
Former Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes had been on the Merseyside club’s radar but the Reds chose not to make a move after concerns over his fitness.
However, they have since turned their attention to Fiorentina stopper Neto, who is keen on a move to England.
The Brazilian keeper will see his contract expire next summer and he is reportedly looking to leave Serie A and find a bigger club.
Tuttomercatoweb in Italy reports that Liverpool have already offered him a bumper contract worth around £125,000-per-week.
