Chelsea star Eden Hazard hailed his side’s win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening.
Spurs started well against the league leaders at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, but saw Jose Mourinho’s side turn the game around and win 3-0 thanks to goals from Hazard, Didier Drogba and Loic Remy.
And, the performance has delighted Belgian midfielder Hazard, who believes the win was ‘important’ after slipping up against Sunderland.
“It was important to win today because we lost two points last week against Sunderland,” the Belgian told reporters.
“We want to stay on top. Today was a very good match, I think. We played very good. It was important.
“Through the first 15 minutes, [it] wasn’t good. After the start, we did very well. We created a lot of chances and we scored three beautiful [goals].
“We have six points in front … and we want to stay there.”
