Lionel Messi is NOT interested in a move to Premier League side Chelsea, according to a source close to the player.
The Argentine forward, broke Raul’s famous Champions League goalscoring record on Tuesday night and it gives the squad, fans and media men – a massive boost.
The Blaugrana have slapped a £200m price tag on Messi, but some reports have claimed that Messi’s bootmaker Adidas may fund a potential move to Chelsea.
A source close to the player told us: “Another day, another Messi rumour. At present the chances of him leaving are very slim. ”
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich boss and former Barca man Pep Guardiola has commented on the situation, saying:
“It would make me very happy to see Messi end his career at Barça. We must congratulate him.
“What he has achieved is amazing. It will take 600 years for someone to achieve what he has achieved.”
