No Inter return for Liverpool’s Mario Balotelli

Roberto Mancini has ruled out an Inter Milan return for Mario Balotelli after returning to coach the club.

Balotelli, has struggled to make an impact at Anfield this season and has been the subject of heavy criticism by both media men and the club’s hierarchy.

However, the striker, who is yet to score in the Premier League, has spoken with Mancini about his happiness on Merseyside, prompting the Italian coach to rubbish any speculation of a move in the January transfer window.

“Mario is happy at Liverpool, he has a great chance and was fortunate enough to go back to one of England’s biggest clubs,” he explained to reporters.

“He has to make the most of this opportunity.”

24-year-old Balotelli has withdrawn from the Italian national side after picking up a hamstring injury and has returned to England.
