Sergio Ramos: I never hit out at Chelsea

Sergio Ramos has denied accusing Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas of being uncommitted when it came to the Spanish national side.

Earlier this week, in response to the news that both Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa would not be involved in Spain’s upcoming international games, Ramos reacted with comments questioning their commitment and injuries.

The Real Madrid defender was joined by national coach Vicente del Bosque, who questioned the trust of Premier League side Chelsea.

However, Ramos has been quick to deny such reports by telling TVE: “I underlined the commitment that there should be in the national team, not that the two of them don’t have it. Far from it.”

Spain face Belarus on Saturday in a Euro 2016 qualifier before they take on Germany in a friendly on Tuesday.
