Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has said that he does not believe Cristiano Ronaldo calls Lionel Messi names in the Real Madrid dressing room.
The Portuguese international has been accused of using nicknames for the Barcelona forward in a new book by Guillem Balague called ‘Messi’.
Ronaldo has since reacted to the reports, claiming he would be suing the Spanish football journalist and Busquets believes that the former Manchester United man is right to do so, saying he does not think the forward would do such a thing.
“My thoughts on Ronaldo allegedly insulting Messi? I don’t believe that Ronaldo is talking badly about Messi in the Madrid dressing room,” the Spain international told COPE.
“We are certainly not talking badly about him at Barcelona. We have a lot of respect for him and have not given him some sort of nickname in the dressing room.”
