Chelsea striker hints at summer exit

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has hinted that he could leave the club at the end of the season.

The 36-year-old has scored three goals at Stamford Bridge this season since he returned following a spell with Turkish club Galatasaray.

On a 12-month contract, Drogba is expected to leave next summer and call time on his career in football.

And, the Ivorian has given the biggest hint yet that it could be his last year in West London.

“This year the key for me is to enjoy my football and to be with my teammates and to win trophies,” he told the Daily Star. “There is one more year to go so let’s do it, let’s win more trophies, let’s make history again.”

Chelsea are currently four points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
