Valdes in, De Gea out at Manchester United?

Manchester United are set to sign Victor Valdes in a move which could see David de Gea leave for Real Madrid.

According to various reports and sources close to Old Trafford, David de Gea will be allowed to join Real Madrid next summer of Victor Valdes returns to full fitness and signs for Louis van Gaal’s side.

The former Barcelona keeper has been training with the Old Trafford club, but it remains unclear if he will join a permanent contract.

Although, his relationship with Van Gaal, first started during the Dutch coach’s days with Barcelona – makes the move more than likely.

De Gea arrived at United from Atletico Madrid in June 2011 but has been linked with a return to the Spanish capital to join Real Madrid and replace Iker Casillas.

Valdes has said that he is close to making a recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament injury on his official Twitter this week.
