Pochettino unhappy with Spurs form

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has been left unhappy following his side’s 2-1 defeat to Stoke City at White Hart Lane.

Goals from Bojan Krkic and Jonathan Walters gave Mark Hughes’s side the win over Spurs, leaving the North London side in 12th place and 15 points behind league leaders Chelsea.

And, their manager – Pochettino has been left unhappy with his players following the defeat on Sunday.

“I am quite unhappy, and disappointed with the performance and the result but I have to balance my emotion because I understand this job,” he told reporters.

“We need to find a solution because we started the game and created a big chance with Harry Kane but, after we conceded the first goal, we started to play uncomfortably in possession, and took rash decisions.

“We conceded a second goal and it’s true, in the first half, we did not play well. In the second half we tried to manage the ball better, they played very deep but after going 2-0 down it’s difficult to change the game.

“It’s clear that with this result, we need to improve a lot. We need to improve, this is clear and always you need time. We need to find a solution very quick, in the next few weeks and find a change.”
