Former Man United youngster renews deal with Juventus

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has signed a new and improved deal at Juventus, the club has confirmed.

The French midfielder left United in 2012 and has become one of the most promising youngsters in European football, helping the Serie A side to two consecutive titles.

The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from the Italian club however, with the likes of his former club United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain all credited with interest.

However, Pogba has now ended such talk by renewing his contract which will see him remain at the club until 2019.

“This morning we agreed the renewal of Paul Pogba, who will be tied to Juventus until 2019,” Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta told shareholders at Friday’s meeting.
