Arsenal eyeing six-month loan deal for PSG wantaway

Arsenal are planning a six-month loan deal for Paris Saint Germain forward Edinson Cavani, Football Express News understands.

The Uruguayan striker has been strongly linked with a summer exit from French side Paris Saint Germain, citing problems stemming from last season with boss Laurent Blanc and his absence from the team last November.

Cavani has started the season well for PSG, included in their opening Ligue 1 games, but his future continues to be questioned with the likes of Chelsea, Juventus, AC Milan and Arsenal all showing interest.

And, it is now understood that after his most recent troubles at the Parisien club which saw him sent off for a gesture in PSG’s weekend win; Arsenal are ready to pounce.

The Gunners are keen to make a six-month loan move which will cost them £5m and feature a option-to-buy clause.
