Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been handed a £20m transfer fund to spend in January after a number of injury problems.
Following their FA Cup success in May, Arsenal fans had hoped for the Gunners to push for the Premier League title this season, but problems on and off the field have seen them fall nine points short of league leaders Chelsea.
Niggling injury problems to the likes of Abou Diaby, Laurent Koscielny, Santi Cazorla, Olivier Giroud and most recently – Mesut Ozil, have seen Arsene Wenger struggle to maintain consistency.
But, it has now emerged that the club’s board have told Wenger that he can spend up to £20m on new players in the coming January transfer window.
Arsenal have been strongly linked with a number of players in recent weeks, with Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira leading the list of potential signings.
Whilst, the likes of Fabian Delph from Aston Villa has also been linked.
