Man United submit ‘smaller’ offer for Arturo Vidal

Manchester United have submitted a ‘smaller’ offer for Juventus Arturo Vidal, Football Express News understands.

Manager Louis Van Gaal and United have held long-term interest in Chilean midfielder Vidal and have made several bids to his Italian club – Juventus this summer but have failed to reach an agreement.

However, it is understood that officials at Old Trafford are ready to make a ‘last-chance’ bid for the central midfielder and have learnt that he will hold talks with Juve in the coming weeks.

Vidal was recently fined £80,ooo for getting involved in an altercation on a night out last week in Turin and his time at the club now seems to be coming to an end.

According to Tuttosport, Vidal will hold talks with the club in the coming days about his future and it is now understood by Football Express News that United have submitted a tempting bid to the Serie A champions of just under £30m.

The Italian could be forced to accept after on and off field problems, plus Vidal’s ongoing injury problems have caused concerns amongst Juve officials.
