Luis Suarez completed his own pre-season training in style as he scored two goals in Uruguay’s 3-0 over Oman on Monday evening.
The Barcelona forward will make his long awaited return to action against Real Madrid later this month after being banned for a bite on Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup this summer in Brazil.
Suarez, who has already featured in a Barcelona B game this season against an Indonesian U19 side, was called up for Uruguay’s friendly with Oman.
And, the former Liverpool delivered with two goals in the second half, with his first coming after being played in by Diego Rolan and his second being a delightful chip over keeper Ali Al Habsi.
