Winston Reid is ready to complete a move to Liverpool in January, having rejected the chance to join Arsenal.
The New Zealand international has performed to a high standard since playing for West Ham United in the Premier League over the last four years and he has since gained interest from a number of clubs, with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool having shown interest.
And, it is understood by numerous England press outlets that Reid has turned down the approach from Arsenal in a bid to join Liverpool in the upcoming January transfer window.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers completed a move for Southampton Dejan Lovren this summer but remains interested in Reid in a bid to bolster his options ahead of a potential push for the Premier League title and a successful Champions League knock-out campaign.
Reid has made eight appearances for the Hammers this season so far.
