Euro 2016 Qualifiers: England v San Marino

Good evening and welcome to Football Express New’s live coverage of the Euro 2016 Group E qualifier between England and San Marino at Wembley.

The home side have started their qualifying campaign in good form, having beaten Switzerland 2-0 in Basel on matchday one and they will be hoping to add another three points to their tally against the small minnows.

San Marino, have never won a competitive fixture and are the joint-lowest ranked team in the world according to FIFA.

22 minutes gone at Wembley and England are having to be patient here. Some sloppy passes from Roy Hodgson’s side but time will tell if San Marino can resist Rooney and co. for more longer.

Simoncini again is at hand to deny England the breakthrough as he saves Wayne Rooney’s long range effort.

GOAL: Juraj Kucka has given Slovakia the lead over Spain.

GOAL: Alexander Kokorin has given Russia the lead against Sweden. Austria also have the lead against Moldova.

No other goals as yet around the grounds. Spain are still being held by Slovakia and Sweden and Russia are level.

San Marino defended with 11 players here, making it hard for England to break through. Has the same feeling of a Barcelona La Liga match here…..
