Man United await Vidal’s Juve contract talks

Manchester United are paying close attention after learning Arturo Vidal is reportedly due to hold talks with the Juventus.

The Premier League side have just completed the signings of Marcos Rojo and Angel Di Maria as new boss Louis van Gaal looks to strengthen his side following a stuttering start to the new season, losing to Swansea City and drawing with Sunderland.

Van Gaal and United have held long-term interest in Chilean midfielder Vidal and have made several bids to his Italian club – Juventus this summer but have failed to reach an agreement.

However, it is understood that officials at Old Trafford are ready to make a ‘last-chance’ bid for the central midfielder and have learnt that he will hold talks with Juve in the coming weeks.

Vidal was recently fined £80,ooo for getting involved in an altercation on a night out last week in Turin and his time at the club now seems to be coming to an end.

According to Tuttosport, Vidal will hold talks with the club in the coming days about his future.
